Take Bookings With ServiceM8

Want to automatically direct callers to your ServiceM8 booking form? While Hooroo AI doesn't have a direct integration to create jobs inside ServiceM8 (yet), you can seamlessly connect the two systems using our "Text Link" feature.

This allows your AI assistant to capture booking requests 24/7 and send customers directly to your existing ServiceM8 form, where they can complete the booking on their own.

How It Works

When a customer calls and says they want to make a booking, your Hooroo AI assistant will recognise the request. It will then offer to send an SMS containing a direct link to your ServiceM8 online booking form. The customer receives the text message during the call, taps the link, and fills out your form. The new job booking then appears in your ServiceM8 account, just as it normally would.

Step-by-Step Setup Guide

Follow these three steps to get started.

Step 1: Find Your ServiceM8 Online Booking Form URL

First, you need the unique URL for your business's online booking form from your ServiceM8 account. If you haven't already created one, you can do that by following the ServiceM8 documentation:

Once created and published, you can access links for each of your Services, as well as a link for a central Services homepage for your business, by going to Settings > Self Serve Online Booking.

Step 2: Configure the "Custom Text Link" in Hooroo AI

Next, you need to teach your AI assistant to send this link when a caller asks to book a job.

  1. Log in to your Hooroo AI dashboard.

  2. Go to the Agent Training section and navigate to Custom Text Links.

  3. Set up a new "Caller Scenario" such as "The caller indicates they'd like to book a job or a quote". You can write this in whatever language makes sense for your business, and the AI will interpret when that comes up in the call.

  4. Add the Link URL for the ServiceM8 booking form.

Here’s how a typical call would go:

  1. Customer calls your business number after hours.

  2. Hooroo AI answers: "Hello, you've reached QuikFire Electrical. How can I help you?"

  3. Customer: "Hi, I'd like to book an electrician."

  4. Hooroo AI: "I can help with that. I can send a link to our online booking form directly to your phone via text. Would that be okay?"

  5. Customer: "Yes, that's perfect."

  6. The customer receives an SMS with your booking link and books the job, which shows up directly in ServiceM8.
